Remainder of Twins-Angels Series Postponed Due to Positive COVID Test Inside Twins Organization

Recommended Posts

No word on how the MLB or the team were able to jump ahead in line. Maybe that's inexcusable too.

Good points on your response, but this particular quote doesn't make sense to me. In Florida the vaxx has been available to anyone age 16 and over for weeks, and for anyone over 30 it's been available for a month. There are so many openings and so much supply that walk-ins are welcome just about everywhere the vaxx is available.

The Twins got the vax last week, I certainly don't think they cut in line or stole anyone's spot.

How? The vaccine was only available when the season started. All teams are following the same protocols as defined by the MLB.

The Twins had an anti-vaxxer (or something) and an outbreak started almost immediately. People who are anti-vaccine are also usually anti-mask, etc., thus they tend to engage in riskier behaviors.

This was a predictable outcome. Inexcusable? Maybe, but it's difficult to pin the blame on the Twins organization. The Twins were doing everything they could, and even made the vaccine available before the general public had access to vaccine. No word on how the MLB or the team were able to jump ahead in line. Maybe that's inexcusable too.

Can we stop with the anti-vaxxer rhetoric? Could it possibly be that the individual recognizes that these particular vaccines have not been tested to the same extent as other medicines, and are only allowed on an emergency use only basis? This coupled with the fact that young individuals in good shape (athletes) have a 99.99% recovery or better and the fact that CDC has already had to halt the use of one vaccine as it is failing its safety test in production. Perhaps the person is purely weighing pros and cons? Or perhaps the person objects to certain ingredients used or has allergies? Do you really feel the need to shame them?
