Great catch by Cave.  If he'd pretended he didn't catch it for a couple seconds instead of holding it up to show he did, he probably could've doubled them off.

I wasn't disagreeing with you at all. Just pointing out an rule that was said by Falvey, one that I didn't know existed.

 

I'd like to see them go for the gold and trade for a legitimate front line starter if one is available.

I don't think he does either, unless you consider him an innings-eater or mop-up guy. He did have a really nice pitch sequence to Merrifield the first time he saw him - just can't do it consistently.

I agree. Just not super confident in bailey and quite honestly Dobnak either. If Hill is out and berrios is shaky, yikes. Just my two cents
