Completely agree. He looks at more cookies then anyone on the team.

I'm sure he'll be fine. But right now, it's just magnified by not having a full season and every game and at bat being that much more important.

I can't not like kittens, but this is true. Is there a trap-spay-neuter program down there?

Also, where in Guatemala are you, bighat?

I used to live in Antigua, gorgeous little town up in the mountains. However, my lady's Guatemalan and she inherited a house in Villa Nueva, so we moved into this place as you can't beat the price. That said, it's kind of like inheriting a house in Youngstown or Toledo or something - if you had your choice, you might wish that house was located elsewhere. On top of that it's a real fixer-upper. Anyway, we were down here in March re-doing the kitchen and ended up stuck down here because the airport's been closed, and we're still here.

Spay-neuter programs don't really exist here, every once in a while a non-profit or NGO comes down and holds a 2-3 day clinic where people take their actual pets, but not the strays. Hundreds of animals get seen to, it's a real chop-a-thon. But stray animals here are just part of the landscape - owned by no-one but fed and taken care of by members of the community who can't watch them starve.

I really like Antigua. I found it to be one of the most photographically fruitful places on earth, along with the area around Atitlan.

Maybe I can find some of my photos. You'll probably recognize every place.

Jack Morris is double dipping, He’s been doing Tiger games since the season began

Must not have been working too hard as he didn't know that MLB is keeping the rosters at 28.

Lots of rule changes this year, not important for the color guy to know them all

I hear you - I went to Antigua twice before deciding to move there permanently. Spent 5 years there. I lived up at Atitlan for a few months (Santa Cruz) but we visit a few times per year for weekends. The views there rival anything I've ever seen and it sounds like you agree!

Sure as heck beats Minneapolis in January.

Buxton taunts us by jogging the bases.

1-0 Twins.

I went to a Twins game in 1990 in which Mel Hall, then of the Yankees, took 33 seconds to get around the bases after hitting a home run. I wonder how the other team would react if Buck ran the bases at full speed after a dinger.
