Your faith in the Twins coaching staff is indeed not misplaced.

And yeah, my statement could be construed as redundant, as i am pretty sure it is part of the definition of a save.

Im sure it is too, I just didn’t realize I would be required to clarify that if he gave up the tying tying run or more, and still finished the game it wouldn’t be a save

Hahaha ha.

Everyone knows Canadians pronounce it "zed, eh?"

I've been a fan of Rush since the early 80s; and even saw them in concert a few times back in the day. I never new their song YYZ was Y-Y-Zed until recently.  When Neil Peart died, someone linked to an interview with the band, and one of them said the song title... I'm still recovering.

My understanding of the Save rule is that if a pitcher is given the save, the manager is then obligated to keep that pitcher in until the end of the game. That's going to blow up on somebody, someday, somehow, some way. But so far, there's been 100% effectivity. No walk-off losses, no matter how long it takes.

Nice comfortable win today, in any case.

This is wonderful. My wife says I go around with a stupid grin on my face for about an hour after each win. (I hate to tell her that that is just the way I look.:)

btw. Has there been any comments on how bad the camera work has been at Target Field?  Does anyone know what has changed ?

So i would need to brush up the man with the yellow hat were i to participate?

I wonder what Curious George would do amongst cheese heads?

Well, the man in the big yellow hat would fit right in!

Golden Knights beat the Dallas no Stars, this Minnesota born fan is always happy when the Dallas hockey team loses

This reminds me of the idea I had for the name of the Minnesota NHL team back when they chose Wild.

I thought they could do a variant of Vikings. The Vikings were Norwegian sailors. Another term for Norwegian is Norse. And a slang term for a sailor, as crossword puzzlers know, is a tar. So the NHL team could have been called the Minnesota Norse Tars.
