Various prospect lists and scouting reports

Instead of creating a new thread each time a list is posted we might as try to compile some of the thoughts and lists into one thread.

I just found this list http://prospect361.com/al-prospects/minnesota-twins/ and it is well done. After a little digging this seems to be done by a fantasy prospect hound that does weekly segments on XM/Sirius and he also seems to have considerable contacts throughout baseball.

His list - click on the link and you will get full scouting reports on each prospect:

Sano

Buxton

Arcia

Hicks

Rosario

Kepler

Berrios

Gibson

Harrison

Goodrum

The most interesting comment regarding Kepler which is something that I've mentioned before

Currently, he’s got gap-to-gap power despite his 10 home runs, but the swing is more level and lacks loft and use of his lower half. However, at 6-foot-4 and a slight 180 pounds, there is clearly physical projection and the hope that the power will eventually arrive.

So Alex Meyer does not make the list? What a crappy list if they can't keep it up to date.

Here's my take. although I do wonder if Arcia should be higher as his hitting seems to be improving as he climbs the minorleague ladder. and Buxton is so far down the road at this point. I included Meyer for the above poster. I feel he is debatabley right there with Hicks as the 4th or 5th best prospect at this point. As I tend to give more weight to projectable players at AA and AAA over rookie and A ball leagues. I do like the depth and it is only going to improve with our draft position next June.

I think it's awesome that you read a great resource and this is your only takeaway. Using your logic BA, BP and Sickel's also have crappy lists since they haven't updated their lists.

Yeah, that is pretty ridiculous lol. It's not like it's exactly hard to find an Alex Meyer write up around these parts anyways.

Thanks for this link Kab, I do like how he has fantasy impact on alot of these!
