I've got a bunch of people coming over for dinner tonight. Firing up the grill soon. Was going to wait to start drinking but with a 4 run lead I might start early. Please don't judge me.

 

Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning... or I guess in your case today, early afternoon.

 

Got some chuck roast burnt ends in the smoker and bacon wrapped jalapeno chicken bombs on the Weber.

 

What are you making?

Poor Alex Avila - the only Twin not to bat in the 1st inning, now he's got to face a lefty which is something he almost never does. Interestingly, he faced a lefty in the Twins warm-up game against the Cubs and Morneau was talking about how ridiculous it was because Avila would never face a lefty this season.

Firing up the Big Green Egg and smoking a prime rib roast. It's hot outside so I might pour a small vodka tonic too.

Take it off just before it hits medium rare.

Mr Morneau, you need to realize we are also Pretty good at watching a game , When they pitched around Eddie , which was obvious trying to get him to chase, Justin goes on a 2 minute rant about it, needs to learn how to condense what your saying, and adjust on the fly,  More than willing to give him a chance cause he does know the game, Little excitement might help also,, think he is trying to hard,  Go Twins

I'd be OK with Avila facing a lefty because the Twins had knocked out the starter prior to his first AB every time he starts.

Eager to see the Maeda debut. Hope he makes us forget about that Brusdar what’s-his-name.

And mrtwinsfan, I read that the plan was to put Buxton on the 30-man with no intentention PF him playing in Chicago, but every intention of him starting the next home series.
