Postgame Pint: Slow Bats, Sano's Glove & Odo's IL Trip

Recommended Posts

Last night, following the Twins 4-3 loss to the Cubs, Seth, Nick & John were joined by a live virtual audience to recap the game and discuss some of the news that came out it. Topics included whether we need to worry about a slow start by the Twins lineup, Miguel Sano's defense at first base and Jake Odorizzi's trip to the Injured List and what it means for the 30-man roster decisions. You can watch by clicking below, checking out

Difference in the game - Homer kept his slop up....and the Cubs kept their slop down and away [fooling most of the Twins batters].

Rosario looks in mid-season form. Might need to move him up in the order and ride it for a bit. The lineup is so awesome on paper....don't want to miss any half inning of Twins hitting [no matter what part of the order is up].

For some reason, I did not mind the lack of a crowd [i thought I would]. Though, I was glad they piped in some crowd noise.

Question. Is the DL list different if it's before the season. In other words, Can Odorman come back when ready instead of waiting 15 days?

They should be able to back-date it several days... not sure how that works in the weird reality that is 2020. Normally, it would back-date to his last appearance, whenever that was.
