Catch-up
The broadcaster may have jinxed the team asking for a big game offensively as the Twins muster two hits and lose 3-2 on a walk off single by Bo Bichette. With an off-day Thursday, the Twins will turn to their hottest starter in Kenta Maeda, (28 K's in 15.1IP), to try and win the final game of the series before starting their longest homestand of the year Friday.

Storylines
1. It's Jackie Robinson Day around Major League Baseball and as you'll see during the game all the players will be wearing the only number retired throughout baseball, #42.
2. Toronto's starting pitching this series has been unbelievable, 14IP, 2R, 23K's, and will turn to Matt Shoemaker today going for the sweep.
3. After a superb outing yesterday despite the loss, Homer Bailey gets a much deserved day off and the Twins will go from their pitcher 2nd on the team in K's, Homer Bailey, to Kenta Maeda today. Maeda trying to continue his fantastic month of April where he has only allowed 2R in 15.1IP.

IMPORTANT

Before I get into the post-game, today was Jackie Robinson day. I thought before today's broadcast of "Twins," baseball we should honor him. So below is the clip of my short memorial to the legacy, of Jackie Robinson.

Post-Game Report, Twins 2 Blue Jays 3.

I realize the effort I am putting into the pre-game thread is more profound that the post game but that changes today! So we begin this third game already losing the series against Toronto, but Minnesota at the very least trying to get some momentum before heading into the longest home-stand of the year starting on Friday. The positives the Twins can carry is that their pitching has been fantastic. Over these three games the Twins staff as a whole netted the following:(25.0IP, 20H, 9R, 34 K's) but still lost all three games and our final game of the contest today.

The Twins get another excellent start from Kenta Maeda, (5.0IP, 1H, 1R, 0ER, 10 K's, 0BB) but the Bomba Squad ends the roadtrip on a sour note getting swept by Toronto and now finally, the pitching staff get a much needed day off. In their last 10 games the Twins have scored over 4 runs only twice, while allowing 4 runs or less six times. The Bomba Squad will look to re-invigorate Target Field and begin the homestand on a high note Friday.
