Well, MNT1996, if that is your real name (I’m pretty sure it’s NOT!), it’s pretty dang clear which side you’re on.

Obviously I'm a Twins fan, but I just don't think Judge is some superhuman. He is basically Sano with a little better contact rate and taller.

... Is this the plan right now?

Putting in Gibson to me says: "We're going to give the Yanks this game. Rest the remainder of the 'pen and live to fight another day tomorrow".

If the Twins get a couple bloops and a blast and steal the game tonight, they'll be ecstatic. If not, they're willing to roll the dice with the rest of the pitchers feeling fresh and down 1-0 in the series entering tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be played like a Game 7, guessing Odorizzi will get the nod if the Twins don't come through late tonight.

You guys, should I fight all the Yankees fans, all by myself, whaddya think?

Only if you've decided you don't care to watch the rest of the game.

Though, you may risk slinking away if all they do is point and laugh.

Well yeah...we all knew the Twins were gonna have to score 8-10 runs a game to have a chance

Not necessarily. 6 innings from the starter would be just as effective. But good luck getting that from literally any of our starters

I'd go with let Berrios go another inning, I'd go with let Duffey start that inning, I'd go with hows about Littel actually throw a strike, but

I don't think it'd be worth it to put Duffey out there for another inning.

If we're gonna question Baldelli, I'd start with "Why Arraez off a sprained ankle against a LHer?"

Concur 100% on that last question. It's only second guessing in the sense that I didn't know how gimpy Arraez is running on that sprain, whereas the coaching staff could see for themselves all week. But one look at him motoring down the first base line, and the question basically asks itself.

And as events bore out, much of what we are debating might have worked out far differently with Schoop in there. Miss that bullseye and the house of cards falls, one domino at a time - checkmate.

It's hard not to wonder what the score would be right now if Schoop had started. 4-4? 4-2 Twins? Or maybe they'd just find another route to 7 runs because it's the Yankees.

How about you and I charge into their dugout and fight the players?  I would just need one other like-minded person to join me and I am in
