I don't want to look it up, but I assume there's some kind of official ranking out there, because there is for everything these days ... is there an actual ranking showing that the Twins are less clutch?

But since they have a winning record, wouldn't that imply that they don't need as much clutchness?

But I get it ... it'd be nice to get runners home when they are in scoring position and it sucks when they don't.

Still doesn't necessarily mean they are less clutch. Unless there is some kind of graph that shows this.

Yeah, I don't want to do the research.

Neither do I. More of a gut feeling than anything else.

I think the Sox, with a good offseason, are primed to be really tough by as early as next year. There's a lot to work with.

I feel like that’s been said for at least 4 years now. Hoping it’s not true

One thing I have noticed about the White Sox manager is that he is old school BIG TIME! I can't say I don't respect that! Suicide squeeze? Old time hard ball right there. Grounder to third, throw it home? Old time play right there. In the last series in Chicago: Drops a pop up? Freaks out on the infield! Old timing material! Like it!

Again, all I’m saying is the 3 bad teams in the division have proven to be awful throughout the year. The twins have done fairly well against them (would be 22-10 after tonight), but it’s always disappointing to lose to any of those three, especially at home. Also considering the team behind us has gone 20-3 against the bad teams since June. There’s a little “take care of business” vibe to games like this, which goes back to chief’s post

I understand what you are saying.  :)

The Yankees are 25-7 against the Jays and Orioles.

The Rays are 16-8 against the Jays and Orioles.

The Twins are 22-9 against the White Sox, Tigers and Royals

The Indians are 27-14 against the White Sox, Tigers and Royals.

The Astros are 23-7 against the Rangers and Mariners

The A's are 16-12 against the Rangers and Mariners

The Braves are 9-8 against the Marlins

The Dodgers are 18-8 against the Padres and Rockies.

It would be nice... All teams wish what you wish.

With the game on the line, there's nobody I'd rather have striking out than Eddie Rosario.

Edit: All you needed was a reason to make me look bad, Eddie. You're welcome, and well done.

How so? Because the White Sox have scored five runs with seven baserunners?

The squeeze was a nice play but the Sox have lucked into this lead. The Twins have outplayed them on the field by a considerable margin.

thus "outmanaged". That non- challenge was awful in my opinion. What are you saving it for? an extra out? maybe save a run? this was an out AND a run.

Batting Average with Runners on: 3rd

Batting Average with runners in scoring position: 7th

Batting Average with runners in scoring position with 2 outs: 5th

Batting Average with the bases loaded: 28th (Perhaps this is where your gut feeling is)?  :)
