When Kaat was around?

I kind of felt a vibe from Dick that he preferred his old partner, and a vibe from Bert that he was aware he was self conscious about being in the booth with a better color guy (and pitcher?).

I think it was the 2 non-katt games here I noticed it. I honestly don’t even remember the comments. Just struck me that maybe there is/was some tension

That error was on Gibson? The "1B" got his glove on it......that's awful.

Sticking my neck out and saying that "ordinary effort" is the key here. Adrianza was the one who had to exert effort beyond the ordinary. Since the ball got away, it's on the guy throwing it. You can dislike that interpretation, but I'm pretty sure it's consistent across the major leagues.

They’ve had those moments for years. I think Bert and his laziness annoys Dick, it they’re like family now. So you hate but still love your family.

Probably, I'm still bitter over who the first baseman is, and am letting that cloud my otherwise sound baseball judgement.....

I liked 'em.

The ones in Old Man's War universe all stand out. I don't remember as much of the others i read, but neither do i recall being disappointed.

 

Redshirts is right up my alley. There just ain't enough hours in the day.

Gibson with one run given up, that should not exist.......what do people want? (please don't be a jinx, please don't be a jinx)

Throwing strikes would be helpful. Especially first pitch strikes. 5/12 so far in that category

Gibson is seriously ticking me off.

 

A guy who throws over to first that much is someone who doesn't want to pitch to the hitter.

 

He's setting us up to be down 2 because he's afraid to throw strikes.
