So if you were making the mushrooms would you have topped them with peanut butter and a hot dog?

By the way, is this where we start hollering to get rid of Smeltzer because he obviously isn't a good pitcher, because he's unable to maintain a 0.00 ERA throughout a season?

Sad news around the Chief household. An old friend recently passed. I went to visit him just before the end. It was touching...his wife was maintaining a tearful vigil by his bedside...my old friend unconscious and barely hanging on. I told her she should go home and rest, but she refused.

 

"What if he should wake up?" she sobbed.

 

Well, what could I say? I decided to wait there with her.

 

Well, wouldn't you know it...just before I was going to leave, my friend opened his eyes. He looked up, and saw his wife there in the room. I didn't want to interrupt the moment, so I just sat quietly, but I couldn't help but overhear.

 

"My darling," he gasped. "There is something I must confess before I die."

 

"Hush, dear," she said quietly. "No need to confess anything."

 

"No," he insisted. "I need to tell you this. I slept with your sister."

 

"I know dear," she whispered. "That's why I poisened you."

Given my current income, I may as well be a bear....

didn’t you recently move to Portland for a job? Or was that your wife’s job?

 

I’ve moved for a job a couple times and got screwed on both of them. Sold a bill of goods and never delivered on promises, so I get burned out and they keep all the bonus money...

I watched Smeltzer a few times on MiLB-TV with Pensacola and was impressed with the inability of the AA hitters to make contact, but I always figured it was smoke and mirrors and that good hitters would kill him. Not so, so far. Let's hope he can keep it going.

Take Lindor out of the lineup, and things are looking great.  If you didn't know you couldn't hang it there on the last AB, you should have known you couldn't in this one either.

Peanut Butter is going to take over the food world. 

 

You can find Peanut Butter on Burgers in some places now. Soon Peanut Butter will be on Lobster... Chicken... Everything.

 

Kind of like how Cranberry got into all the juices in the juice aisle. 

 

The most perfect combination of two things that can never go together is thai peanut sauce and pepperoni.  Its a flavor town abomination discovered as a joke at work but damn its good.  Sadly I doubt I can ever get a customer to be brave enough to try it haha.
