DFA Adrianza is always an option too, but he's not playing terrible. .8 WAR according to Baseball Reference. 

 

At one point I thought Adrianza's time with the Twins was nearing an end, but he's hit really well for the last month and probably keeps his spot. My guess is Astudillo gets optioned in the next week (when Garver gets back), he's really been struggling with the bat since he came off the IL.

Jack Morris has actually been pleasant to listen to. Maybe he's just happy that he gets to cover a good team finally?

 

Whatever the case may be, I've surprisingly really enjoyed listening to Morris these past couple of days. Much more positive than before, less complaining.

I think they can find a trade partner for Adrianza, probably only for cash, but like you say, he has positive value, even if surprising.

Whatever the case may be, I've surprisingly really enjoyed listening to Morris these past couple of days. Much more positive than before, less complaining.

It seems like he's been a bit better about doing his homework or knowing how the players are doing than I remember Jack, who usually is full of war stories and generic observations.  That's probably easier for him to do with the club winning.

When he's not calling for purpose pitches against his own team, that is.

Bremer is still annoying though, talking about Rogers like he just gonna blow away five batters , then as if on cue he gives up two big hits

Brewers have a good chance to steal this one. Rogers threw a fat one to Arcia and he barrelled it. Stuff happens, and the Twins have been so dominant that this seems rare. I do want to see what happens when they face Hader.

He hasn't been great behind the plate tonight, either.

I don't know if I'd call it steal.  A one-run game is totally winnable against our bullpen in spite of their (perhaps illusory) success this year.
