Yesterday, with the day game, I wanted to go home and watch the Twins. What to do? I'm at work. So I went into my boss's office and told him "Hey boss man...I need to use some sick leave. My wife called, and I need to take her to the hospital." 

 

"Chief," he said. "Is there a day game today?

 

He looked down at his desk planner and started ticking off the dates.

 

"Opening day. Wife sick. Wednesday April 7th. day game. Wife sick. Friday, May 3rd. Day game. Wife sick. What do you have to say about all that, Chief?"

 

"Well, boss, I dunno what to say. Do you suppose she's faking it??"
