We get to steal one of the ChiSox runs?

Buxton's ability to steal has not yet begun to be tested.

If a player risks a 50-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, is it the same penalty if you slip a performance-decreasing drug to the opposition?

"True Story"

I was maybe 20 years old.

A buddy and I were enjoying Long Island Tea Night at a place called The Bridge in East Grand Forks. We closed the place down and we were not ready to end the night so we had another buddy that lived in an apartment above the "City Center Mall" across the river in Grand Forks.

BTW... The Bridge and City Center Mall no longer exist so all evidence has been destroyed.

It was around 1:30 in the morning and we somehow made it to the apartment knocked on the door... nobody answered. We looked to our left and saw an exit sign. We assumed that meant we could exit out this door so we did.

It led to a rooftop and the door closed behind us and locked. It was dark so you couldn't see the spiral staircase that led to the alley but my buddy found the ladder that led to the rooftop of the City Center Mall.

So we climbed it and sat on the rooftop watching cars go by on DeMers Avenue below until the the Police arrived... Guns Drawn BTW and took us to jail.

Felony Criminal Trespass was the charge. Case dismissed because I was able to explain to the judge that I grew up with the Robins Egg Twins Jersey and they were a great influence on me.

I've got a story that may beat that! (I don't think I've told it on TD ...). WAY BACK IN TIME, 1977, I hitchhiked from my hometown to Chicago to see a college friend, and on the way I got waylaid right outside Met Stadium, and there happened to be a game going on, so naturally I went to see the game. It began to rain half way through, so (if anyone old enough remembers The Met, there were literal bleachers in the left field area foul territory) just before the game ended I ducked down under the bleachers and spent the night. The next morning I went out through a turnstile and hitchhiked on to Chicago.

Melatonin in the opposing water cooler might stimulate their sleep cycle a little earlier than planned.

For some teams (Orioles, I'm looking at you), just putting on the uniform is a performance decreaser.

Yeah

That beats it.

This team is simply bonkers. They can't stop scoring runs! They're down 4-0 in the 2nd inning, and by the time the 3rd inning finishes, they have a lead!

This team is spoiling us.

Shhhh. Don't tell them that. They may stop

It's amazing that we get to root for a team that 1-9, every hitter is a threat.  No deficit is too big that early in the game.

Now come on, Jose, and get the hitters back into the dugout.
