In typical Minnesota Sports style....we’re going to come back down to earth against the worst team in AL Central.

They're coming back down to earth because they are down 4-1 in the bottom of the 2nd inning?

What is the fine for a jinx of this magnitude?

 

It's a clever Jinx that I'm not sure how to approach. Kinda like a bomb with two red wires. Which wire do you cut? 

 

My temptation is to say under for the jinx to produce the over. However... a jinx this special would know what I'm up to and then produce the under. 

 

I'm not so sure that Blake doesn't deserve a warning point for this one.

I've spent only one day in Jail, I pay my taxes and it's because that Jersey was a positive influence on me. 

One of these phrases deserves more detail that begins "True Story."

That is clearly the Christian Bale Bat Man. The Adam West Bat Man would never limit himself to a sentence that short. 

 

Also... I can't tell but I'm hoping that isn't Robin he is slapping.

Jose Berrios first 8 starts: 4 runs allowed once. 6 IP or more every start. Last 3 starts: 4 runs allowed in each. 6 IP in none of them (on the presumption he doesn’t make it today given that he’s at 40 pitches after 2).

At least he isn't at 50 thru 2 like the other guy

"True Story"

 

I was maybe 20 years old.

 

A buddy and I were enjoying Long Island Tea Night at a place called The Bridge in East Grand Forks. We closed the place down and we were not ready to end the night so we had another buddy that lived in an apartment above the "City Center Mall" across the river in Grand Forks.

 

BTW... The Bridge and City Center Mall no longer exist so all evidence has been destroyed.  

 

It was around 1:30 in the morning and we somehow made it to the apartment knocked on the door... nobody answered. We looked to our left and saw an exit sign. We assumed that meant we could exit out this door so we did. 

 

It led to a rooftop and the door closed behind us and locked. It was dark so you couldn't see the spiral staircase that led to the alley but my buddy found the ladder that led to the rooftop of the City Center Mall.

 

So we climbed it and sat on the rooftop watching cars go by on DeMers Avenue below until the the Police arrived... Guns Drawn BTW and took us to jail. 

 

Felony Criminal Trespass was the charge. Case dismissed because I was able to explain to the judge that I grew up with the Robins Egg Twins Jersey and they were a great influence on me.
