No surprise here, but the timing seems a bit odd.

 

Note that he got the dreaded vote of confidence a few weeks ago.

 

Makes me wonder what he did in the past week or so to really piss off ownership. Why couldn't they have waited until 1 minute after the last game of the season?

Cleveland is not a bad team because Manny Acta was the manager. Cleveland is a bad team because they have bad players.

 

Cleveland has been stable. Constantsuckage stable for a while. Same way the Twins have been the past couple seasons. I guess they do not like that stability so they try to find someone who can change that. And they were in the contention path for a while both of the 2 last seasons.
