Betsy Helfand from the Pioneer Press wrote a really good article on Nick Gordon today. It discusses the role that rap music has played in his career but also where it ranks relative to baseball.

“I try to keep it away from the baseball field,” Gordon said. “It’s more of a fun thing. When I’m here, I’m here to take care of my business.”

Gordon it great to talk to and very open about his music, but the article also includes great comments from Twins minor league director Jeremy Zoll on Gordon's 'outlet.'

“I think the more you get to learn about any of our minor leaguers, the more you see that they’re often not just good at baseball but really good at some other things too, and (it’s) cool that Nick can utilize some of those talents in some other areas in his life,” farm director Jeremy Zoll said.
