Don't think Greedy Williams falls to 50.

I wouldn't think so either, but his big knock is that he's not a good tackler, which is still probably a pretty bid demerit with many clubs.

Though not with the Vikings as I recall when the team was talked about as landing spots for Waynes and and Hughes. I always wanted more Antoine Winfields, only to later find out that Zimmer's scheme needs blanket coverage and makeup speed from the outside corners and tackling isn't as big of a concern.

Not that I understand that or like it.

The Cardinals traded a third and a fifth to move up for Rosen last year.  Now they'll probalby have to deal a 4th or a 5th just to salvage a 2nd rounder out of him.

Kyler Murray can be a stud and they still wasted a lot of draft capital on that mistake.

Also probably a good example as to why GMs should be held just as accountable and replaced just as frequently as head coaches.

It's a marvel to me that Keim kept his job despite a pretty awful DUI and the horse-bleep roster he assembled last year.  Then fired a first year coach for it.

I didn't like Rosen last year and I don't think he's any good.  A roster as bad as Arizona's cannot afford to drop 40 spots in a draft AND pay a 3rd, 4th, and 5th round pick to do it.  Say what you want about Spielman, he's had his misses, but he's largely avoided any truly stupid mistakes like this one.

Yeah, from an outside perspective, which typically seems to be more objective than the local perspective, Keim seems like a terrible GM.

Spielman has easily been better and he has his good moments, but I'm still in favor of a change soon. While it's a nice story to have career employees in key positions, I'm in favor of shaking things up when they get stale. This team might not be stale yet, but they get awful close every other year. It wouldn't necessarily have to be Spielman's fault but sometimes new perspectives and theories should be tried. If/when Zimmer is let go, I think they should hunt for a new GM as well, it would seem like an ideal time for an overhaul.

Could happen after the upcoming season. If they miss the playoffs 2 years in a row after the Kirk signing... He's gotta go.

I agree.  I think Spielman is a good GM.  I think Zimmer is a good coach.  However, if they aren't winning the Super Bowl (or coming damn close) - it's time to move on.

Sometimes even people good at their job need a change of scenery.

Would you trade a 3rd this year and 4th next year for Rosen? Kid has am arm. Might not be a bad idea to let him develop...

I thought I read he was traded to Miami already for their 2nd round pick.

I thought Rosen was the best QB in last year's class.

Thank god im not a GM, boy was I wrong.

This kid is so mentally fragile it's sad. I'll be shocked if he makes it. I wouldn't trade a 7th for him.

Updating - they moved down 52 spots for the cost of a 3rd and two 5ths.  Terrible.

Jimmy Kleinsasser with more speed. I like it.

I look forward to a TE that, when we need 7 yards, will give us more than a soft 3.

YAC and TE haven't been associated in the same sentence for the Vikings in about a decade now.  I hope this is the end of Rudolph's time here.

So they can take another OL that won't make the roster? Outside WR, do they have any success after round four in the last five years?

I'm not saying I agree, just predicting Trader Rick's moves before he does them!

I'm guessing they dealt 81 for 88 and 142
