Week 13: Vikings at Patriots

Stuck watching the bears giants game now.

You aren't missing much. Vikings offense needs to more aggressive. Third straight game where we went three and out on our first drive, facing fourth and one.

 

Pats offense moved pretty easily against the D.

Cousins held the ball way too long on that sack considering Diggs and Thielen were open.

I don't see enough to know everything he does behind the scenes, but it amazes me that Priefer still has a job. Every kicker is terrible here.

I'm really over Priefer too. These offensive gameplans can't be much worse. The Patriots are crowding the box... Cousins has to go deep. Spread this defense out. Dinks and dunks aren't working.

Well, Cousins has the check-downs down pat. Our OL really needs to get improved this offseason.

Might as well punt on 1st down with these plays. No creativity. No change of pace. Absolutely predictable. Thielen has 1 target through 2 quarters. Cousins has 8 completions for 38 yards.

The ol is getting dominated, but the Patriots are stacking the box big time. Vikings have to spread them out, or they'll keep eating cousins for breakfast. Screens, delays, deep routes... Do something besides straight running plays and out patterns.

Tough to run deep routes when the OLine can't block for more than 2 seconds.

Much better drive. Keep the defense off balance and take advantage of their aggression.

He was the Brad Childress of that operation. Pederson is calling the shots, and DeFillipo was along for the ride.

That coverage was the exact same that the Giants were called pass interference on against the bears. Exact same.

Well, the ref does know how to flag PI after all ....

Teams that need an excuse will never win anything.

Nevermind the 3 that NE had to settle for when Harris got away with PI at the goalline earlier.

Can't watch, and was doing deconstruction in the new to us house. Sounds like the same team....a tease. Building a great defense is meaningless without an offense. If I was the owner, this GM would have one more year to show he can build an actual team.

Wow. I don't understand Murray on this team at all. He went to the absolute wrong hole there.
