Your Favorite Radio/Podcast Personality

Who do you enjoy listening to, sports related and non- sports related? They could be a host, co-host, or contributor.

For me, my favorite sports radio personality is The Common Man, Dan Cole on KFAN. I've listened to him for 15+ years, and he still catches my attention for his funny bits, and not taking sports too seriously.

My favorite non-sports radio personality is Jam Cramer from Fast Money. He's been a well known face in stocks and finance for generations. His show is still quite entertaining and informative.

Who are some of your favorites to listen to?

I can't' listen to KFAN. The Common Man annoys me. Then again,, when I'm making the 5 minute drive home and back for lunch, it's' the only station I get. Usually makes me crabby by the time I am back at work.

I listen to:

Crime in Sports

Small Town Murder

The Serial Killer Podcast

Those three are on Podcast One.

Serial is good.

Season 1 of In the Dark was really interesting. Obviously as someone who is about the same age as Jacob Wetterling and remember that time, it was fascinating. And, of course, ,it came to a resolution 27 years later as this podcast was coming out. Season 2 was OK too.

This seems to be the only podcast post by searching, so I'll mention it here. I've been a big fan of Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History podcast, but this season is going above and beyond.

I've also had a friend recently talk with Michael Lewis for the next season of his new podcast Against the Rules, and it sounds like the premise for the next season is very good, which is no surprise as the first season was exceptional (and Gladwell has his fingers in that podcast as well).

Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend

The Bill Simmons Podcast

Joe Rogan Experience

Hacks On Tap with David Axelrod & Mike Murphy

I also still enjoy Howard Stern's show on Sirius when he is interviewing a celebrity guest.

Have also heard good things about Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and WTF with Marc Maron, but have not had a chance to listen yet.

Ryen Russillo and SVP just released their final podcast together. I used to listen to their radio show daily and I've followed Russillo to The Ringer.

I enjoy Bill Simmons NBA pods and his Rewatchable & other media pods can be good too.

Joe Rogan can be really good depending on the guest and his level of knowledge/interest in the subject matter.

If you're into history Dan Carlin's Hardcore History is great but super dense.

Jeselnik & Rosenthal Vanity Project

Lore if you appreciate a pod about darker historical events and can get into "scary," stories.

Mysterious Universe is my guilty pleasure pod, i.e. everything has to be taken with a grain of salt but the story threads are certainly entertaining. It's an easy way to pass the time on a long drive or walk.
