That effort by Cave reminded me of a Torii Hunter attempt against the A's in game 2 of the 2006 ALDS.... right after back to back homers by the Twins.

The only catcher in the American League less likely to hit an inside-the-park homer would be Bobby Wilson.

 

Prince Fielder hit one against the Twins on a misplay...... lumbered all the way around....

Hunter made a poor effort on the first batter of the game of the Twins first home playoff game since 1991 to allow an inside the park homerun to Ray Durham as well. It wasn’t a dive, it simply bounced under his glove.
