That was all Morrison. The runner, especially a veteran, is not looking to the coaches for direction on a double to left field.

That's on him.

Well he’s sucked a while, yet they keep playing him. I’d take Vargas back over him at the moment.

Don't make the first or last out at third? Pffft. Conventional baserunning wisdom doesn't apply to a meteorite in very near earth orbit like the 6'2" - 240 lb. sLoMo.

Sorry, Twins and Royals fans don't care about the Yankees farm system. Terrible announcers.

Yeah, the last thing I want to hear about as a fan of either of these teams is the Yankees. Thanks for being in touch with your audience, Tom.

I have no real interest in watching Morrison swing a bat again but Vargas has been several shades of bad in Rochester. How do you think he'll do in the majors?

Batting .419 his last 7 games with a pair of homeruns and 9 RBI's... may be worth a try

Followed by brushing Rosario off as an afterthought with a condescending "Good Luck, Eddie" when discussing the final vote.  Muted.  I'd rather hear Bert talk about his birthday, productive outs and athletic pitchers over and over and over.

The generic FS1 broadcast team is unintentionally hammering home a point tonight that should be very concerning to Twins management, which is that in the absence of the usual blatant homerism, human interest minutae, and Rosario's All Star snub stuff you get with the standard FSN broadcast, the product that the franchise put on the field tonight is virtually impossible to sell to an audience as a team worth watching.

I'm still amazed that FS1 didn't find an out to somehow get out of televising this game. The ratings must be through the cellar.
