Sorry I didn't answer, I was too busy watching another Twins batter hit another feeble pop up

I have a morbid curiosity, so I went even further back and before May 10, the last time the twins hit a homer with more than 1 man on base was wayyyy back on April 20, the Rosario grand slam in Tampa.

 

So in summary, the twins have hit TWO homers worth more than 2 runs in the past month.

Since it’s the Tigers… that means that ‘you know who’ is coming to town… the guy whose last name starts with a “G”. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he was one of us. He was a part of us for such a long time that his face is still probably burned into your memory.

When Buxton breaks a bat it reassures me that the one he is using is actually made of wood, not a plastic whiffle bat. Of course, it rarely matters because he does not often make contact.

Time for Buxton to spend some time in AAA. I don't think I've ever seen a worse hitter than the 2018 version of Byron Buxton. The ABs aren't at a professional level.

 

I'm not convinced that would help. I'm sorry to say that I've given up on Buxton and Sano, and therefore on this generation of the Twins' offense. Little Whiff and Big Whiff.

If you're looking for a top 3, the April 2016 and April 2017 vintages of Byron Buxton would fill out the podium nicely
