BTW, can't stay for the game. I'm at Tahoe and it's shorts weather. Everyone nearby, avert your eyes - I'm heading outdoors!

I see that it's scoreless after two. Y'all will have to bring this 0-0 win home for me.

And, please, no pics. Remember, I lived in MN and I well remember the "first sign of shorts."

I still have nightmares.

Tough Room.  :)

The first ball was an error but they happen on occasion. However the 2nd ball was a diving stop with two outs. You got a moving runner to get at second and he probably didn't have a play at first either because Rondon can run.

The Twins have a bunch of automatic outs in the lineup that can be solved by bringing up Nick Gordon and getting Byron back. Also can't wait for Polanco to get back... and maybe Sano and Castro are getting needed refreshes

A guy from the land of lutefisk is complaining about fish?

My Mom was full blooded Norwegian. She had gotten herself used to lutefisk growing up and had acquired the taste for it.

However, Neither Dad or any of us kids liked it so Mom eventually stopped preparing it because nobody else would put it on their plate.

I always suggested to Mom that if she likes it... she should have it and I even promised to eat it so it wouldn't go to waste... But she knew nobody liked it... so she wouldn't do it.

Fast Forward to 1989 and the very first Thanksgiving attended by my future wife.

As you can imagine: My soon to be bride and my family is just getting to know each other and therefore overly nice... overly respectful... not real yet.

Anyway... about a week before that Thanksgiving. We stopped by the house and I told Mom that she loves Lutefisk just to be funny and she didn't want to make any waves so my wife nodded her head yes.

She had never had Lutefisk but Mom was so excited that someone else in the room liked it and it was prepared.

To summerize this story... My wife choked it down and even said "Mmm... this is good" on occasion.

She still hasn't forgiven me.

You were nice enough to let your wife know exactly what she was getting in to? I think that's rather thoughtful, myself.

Now that you mention it.

I may have forgotten that part.  ;)

If anyone believes in curses is it time to mention that Shields is pitching a no-hitter.  That's right a no-hitter.

Half way to an El Perfecto...good thing the Twins bench is loaded with httrs nt nsgnfcnt rlf ptchrs

Twins gonna get no-hit by the 2018 version of Mike Pelfrey? They seem to be swinging for the fences every at-bat. Last night they waited on pitches, got a ton of 3-1 and 2-0 counts. Today they are swinging at the first pitch in the dirt every time. Kepler looks especially bamboozled.

Time to stop this madness and get some hits!
