but he wasn't off balance, he was going towards 1, and it wasn't a slow roller.  Sano has a cannon.  He needs to throw that one.

 

It wasn't a scorcher either and Sano was playing deep. It is also Cold... Grips aren't automatic at these temps. 

 

I didn't see the definitive replay but I'm assuming tough play.

AC 78 in summer, furnace 73 in winter, 68 at night. But we also have a woodstove (I own some woods) and we usually fire it up for Viking games and evening TV watching. 80 degrees lends itself well to wine drinking on cold winter days. Probably be cheaper to skip the wine and put a few more degrees on the thermostat, but it wouldn't be as much fun.

so it's a fielding error instead of a throwing error.  either way, a guy is on base who shouldn't be.

 

I'm hoping that by maybe mid-season or so we see Sano attempt that throw and make it work. But I'm sort of an optimist at heart. I'm also hoping that the IRS won't question my sizable deduction for charitable contributions to Service Monkeys for Visually Impaired Skydivers.

This actually happens more often than you would expect.

 

No, wait... checking... this happens exactly as often as you would expect.

 

Last time I saw it happen, it was slow pitch softball and the pitcher threw the last two innings from a lawn chair on the mound.

I wasn't going to donate when he dropped in at my place, but the monkey was so darn cute with that little chute deployed...... :)
