Things to think about:

 

Green Beer: Did you drink any yesterday? I can safely say I won't be consuming any more of it until March 17, 2019.

 

Weather: It's going to be 82 degrees at first pitch. What's the weather looking like in your neck of the woods? It's going to be muggy and raining in Austin.

 

St. Patty's Day Food: I had a GREAT Shepherd's Pie yesterday. Did you eat any Irish based food yesterday? Corned beef?

 

Working out the kinks: We are T minus 11 days away from opening day! Even game threaders need a spring training. Let's use today to get our bad jokes, memes, and concurs in line for the real deal!

You seem to have inferred that comments about bad jokes are directed specifically in your direction. To be fair, I suppose that's a very logical inference to make. Not that there's anything wrong with bad jokes.

Here is my Phil Hughes bingo card for today:

 

- wind was blowing out

- Poor fielding behind him

- still injured

- was working on change up grip

- on an 0-2 pitch

- spring stats don't matte-------

 

Oh, Hughes pitched yesterday? Gues i am a little rusty...

Have no fear! You just need to update to the Odorizzi Bingo card...

 

Best acquisition ever.

I'm a serious note...Gibson talking about using his 4 seamer more...as a few of us noted last year.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Mr. Gibson this year.

 

Not so much about Mr. Hughes, darn it.
