Happy Birthday Chief!

You made it another year around the sun, Chief!

Two men were sitting in the lounge of their retirement village when one asked, "How do you really feel? I mean, you're 82 years old. How do you honestly feel?"

The other man replied, "Honestly, I feel like a newborn baby. I've got no hair, no teeth, and I just wet myself!"

Are we sure it's his birthday?  Stone calendars from his day are unreliable at best.

I think at the invention of the current calendar, he just had to pick a day ... and it's today. And he doesn't really know how old he is, just that he's older than dirt. :)

The Earth's solar orbit was much faster back then, making the choice of day moot anyway.

It's possible that his parents had aspirations of him being a romantic one day... Thus choosing Valentine's Day and saying "Meh, close enough."

My god time flies. Chief, you made it around the sun.... Again!

I've been known to recycle Hallmark cards, but recycling posts is ridiculous.

Speaking of cards, this was at the store when I went birthday shopping for him:

Chief spotted a rattlesnake on the way to work this morning.

I mean, he must have been. Rattlesnakes don't get days off, do they?

Happy thirtieth or fortieth or whatever, Chief!

I even filled in his name, to personalize it. Still left it at the store, after doing so, but it's the thought that counts, right? Saved us both money: me for the cost of the card, Chief for the postage-due.
