Orioles wait out free agency, then pay at least full price for a pitcher......

This one is a head scratcher. It's questionable if Cobb is going to be ready by opening day. Also, I thought Baltimore was going to start their rebuild.

Won’t know until next year. If he has a really great 2018, he could end up in the better place over all.

Yeah if he has a great year his market resets AND he won't have a draft pick associated with his signing. I don't understand why Cobb got a legitimately good contract a week before the season starts.

Royals lose Salvi Perez for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury---carrying his luggage. Horrible luck, a fun guy to watch and compete against.
