I normally don't make these type of comments in the game thread.

 

But...

 

When I look at the Indians Pen.

When I look at the Yankees Pen. 

When I look at the Red Sox Pen.

When I look at the Astros Pen.

 

I immediately wonder if Falvey and Lavine are paying attention. Bullpens are winning championships now and will win more in the future. 

 

Please get bullpen serious in 2018... Please. I've been a good loyal fan and I've been asking specifically for a shut down bullpen for two years now.

 

It's going to take time. Everyone needs relievers, they don't grow on trees (I think). It took years for it to get this bad (in the pen) and will take years for it to be rebuilt. Unless you have yankee money

I have to give Falvey and Lavine a break on this. They are not even a year into their job and they really didn't know what they had or what they needed. 

 

However, I will join in castigating the FO if they do nothing to address the bullpen in this off-season.
