I think Sano was taken by surprise that Glynn was waving him. And with good reason.

Yeah, looked to me like Sano slowed because he expected he was going to be stopped. Even if Sano is going full speed, there's no way he makes it home.

Definitely on Glynn.

Yeah, they just showed the replay. He was waving him around and Sano slowed down probably because he was thinking, "what the **** is he doing waving me around?" Buxton would've been out at the plate if he crossed third at the same time as Sano did. There is 0 excuse for sending anyone in that situation, let alone Sano.

Well, with two out, you're banking on a mishandle or off line throw.  Not the worst third base decision I've ever seen, and with two outs I'm in favor of being very aggressive.

That, perhaps, was too aggressive.

It looked like Sano was Lollygagging from second to third and didn't notice Glynn was asking for wheels until too late.

Shouldn't Glynn have seen Sano wasn't pushing from First to Third?

To be fair, I think even if Sano ran at his top speed the entire time, he would've been out by 5 feet instead of 10 feet.

Yeah, I thought Sano was in to third with the hit by Rosario and no more. I was surprised when he went.

Tonight is exactly why Santana needs to be a Twin in '18.

Starts out the night without his best stuff, uses up a lot of pitches early, gives up a couple runs and a cheap homer, then finishes 6 innings with no more damage.

Professional pitcher.

If Sano had been busting it full speed the whole way he'd have been out by 20 feet instead of 30.

I don't think I was exaggerating.

Maybe. But I'm with Chief on being aggressive in that situation, and Sano wasn't on the same page whatsoever, IMO. Short of insubordinate, but you have to go hard, and let the base coach make those decisions. Sano's got major league speed. I'd think differently if it were, say, Mauer.
