Profile editing

In the "Community Stats" segment of the profile, there is a biography section. This now has incorrect information for me, but I am unable to find where I would edit it. I am blind, but could someone help me to see?!

On the page where you are seeing the bio, there should be a black button near the top right that says "Edit my Profile". Do you not have that?

I have that, but I find nowhere to alter the "biography" section under the "Community Stats" area. I've been able to edit the about me and other such things, but not that specific little bit.

You can modify Location and Occupation, but not Biography which comes between them? Odd. Moderators see the UI slightly differently than regular members so I can't guess what's wrong.

 

PM me with the text you would like entered and I'll do it. Also include Brock Beauchamp in that PM, so that he can look into the cause of your difficulty.

I seem to recall going through this with someone else and I don't think users are able to do that anymore. In fact I don't think new posters even have that section in their profiles. It might be related to when we changed the site a couple years ago. But Brock would be able to tell you, so PM him.

And I'm completely fine with it being deleted altogether from mine, but I just don't want incorrect things in there. PMs were sent.

I didn't get back online until now but I made the change. I hope Brock will take a look into whether that part of the profile should be made editable.
