I had my 22nd episode last night. Ryan Meehan was my guest. I have known Ryan for years because of Minnesota amateur baseball. Ryan is currently the head coach of the Metro Knights, a team in the skyline league, a class A amateur league in the metro area. We talked baseball in MN mostly, and it was really great to catch up with him. Please give it a listen.

I had my 23rd episode last night. Zach Friesen was my guest. Zach is a huge Twins fan and has been from a young age. He also is a professional trombone player, which I had a blast asking him about (full disclosure, I did not know he was a professional trombone player prior to talking to him, and he was the first ever professional trombone player I have spoken to in person.) I found that fascinating. We talked about his dream to play the trombone at a Twins game (how can we help make that happen?) as well as some nostalgic baseball (creating rosters on hardball 3, anyone else?) I had a lot of fun with this show. Please give it a listen!

I had my 24th episode last night. Andy Ross was my guest. Andy is my cousin, and easily the person I played baseball, and Sports in general, the most as a child and a teenager. It was really fun to catch up with him and talk the good old days, including Baseball and creating teams on hardball 3. We also had some fun family and inside jokes directed at other friends and family we love. Please give it a listen.

I had my 25th episode last night, and Annie Huidekoper was my guest. I've known Annie for many years (she was my boss when I interned for the Saint Paul Saints years ago) and she was one of the first employees to work for the Saints in their opening season. We talked her love of baseball growing up, working with Mike Veeck and Bill Murray for all of these years (she worked for the Twins for a time in the middle of that run too) and her love of Midway Stadium as well as the work it took to make CHS field a reality. I really had a great time catching up with Annie. Please give it a listen.

I had my 26th episode last night. Darren Wolfson was my guest. I really appreciated the time he gave in terms of letting me chat with him for a bit. It was a fun podcast, and we talked about baseball quite a bit, including both his time growing up and learning to love the game, as well as enjoying passing the game down to his son. Please give it a listen!

I had my 27th episode last night. Luke Muellerleile was my guest. He is my sister's fiancé (I've never stated I don't show bias in picking some of my guests) and he played both baseball and football growing up as well as at Carleton College in Northfield, as well as after college he played for the Minneapolis Lakers in amateur baseball. The last 40 minutes of the podcast we talked about the Last Jedi and included spoilers for the movie, so if you haven't seen it yet, I made a point to state when we would be talking about the movie so as you wouldn't listen at that point. Otherwise, please give the show a listen, and I hope you enjoy it!

I had my 32nd episode last night. I was my own guest. It was really interesting/unusual doing a show all on my own, and I felt at times like I was rambling on a bit. Outside of that, I enjoyed doing the show and asking myself some of the questions that I have asked other people in previous podcast. I touched on how I grew to love the sport, why I enjoy still talking about baseball, what I see as the future of Baseball is Good, and lastly I ended the show going over some memories I had from TwinsFest this past weekend. Please give it a listen!

Have a great day!

I had my 37th episode last night. Matthew Burke was my guest. He runs a twitter account called @TwinsColdTakes. He loves the Minnesota Twins, and said he started that specific twitter account because the negativity towards the team on social media was too much for him to handle at one point last season. We talked social media, his love of the game, and his amazing ability to handle the bunt when he was pitching. Please give it a listen!

I had my 39th episode last night. Travis Aune was my guest. Travis has his podcast Minnesota Sports Weekly that I used to be a part of, but it is a different show now that he runs it and it was fun to hear about the direction of the show and what he plans for the future. Pete Gorton and Payton Woodson were my guests last night. They are part of the production/research/development team behind the documentary for John Donaldson, the greatest baseball player that you have never heard of. It was really fun to chat with them about the project, as well as what kind of player, and person, John Donaldson was. Please check out the website, and if you are able, please look into supporting their kickstarter. 39secondsfilm.com
