Despite making fun of his name and the Twins bullpen wheel of fortune in general, I like the signing. I think he may now finally be fully recovered from the trauma of the month he spent on my fantasy team in 2014.

But ever notice the best Twins players, and the best teams, had guys with odd names or names predominately obsessed with consonants?

Remember the old signs at the Metrodome that said "Hey Hrbek, buy a vowel." Good times.

Seriously...this might be a missing draft or FA strategy! Name me a Smith, Jones, Johnson Twin that was great?

 

Surely our new FO is intelligent enough and plugged in enough to create a formula that eliminates vowels to bring in players with odd names. The more consonants, the fewer vowels, the better. And if you can plug in q or z or x somewhere, you just might find a HOF player. Lol

No... She tried... It's a Caramel Crunch type thing but it the Target Market Pantry variety and I don't think those guys try very hard based on the end result. 

It actually exists. The target market seems about right from this link.
