How long do we keep saying this?

I know a bunch of you just love his defense, but that is all he has is his defense. Yup he is young but the problem with that is he is hitting in AAA and just cant hit major league pitching. Bring someone else on that can hit and field.

Good grief stop it with this nonsense.

 

Buxton is a big big reason this team is in first and not in last. His defense alone makes him a valuable player - he is, bar none, the best defensive center fielder in the league. 

 

Absent the first couple of weeks of the season, and he's hitting at a relatively decent clip. Sure, he went 0-4 today. But he went 3-3 yesterday with a homer a double, a single and a walk, and he was 2-4 the game before that. 

 

Some players just take longer to adjust. Give him time and he'll be fine. But even if he isn't, his defense is all world.

Well, it's maybe not quite how they drew it up, but the Twins pulled off the split in the series, and added the bonus of another excellent Berrios start.

Plus, it's far too early to give up on a 23 year old playing in what figures to be his first full major league season.

I did finally go back and add the answer to my post, but with encryption rivaling U-boat Enigma codes. Giver-uppers will have to push through to ash's post at the end to find the answer.

Fudge. I was having network troubles, thus had a backlog of posts to check, and I took the shortcut of doing a search on "Hale". Next time I'll include spoonerisms too, and maybe anagrams.
