He stayed in the game. He's still flexing his arm and not taking much of a lead from first, but the important thing is that it looks like there's no damage to his Glorious Hair.

I'm totally hung over, so please type quietly everyone.

 

Last night we met a winemaker, and he just kept opening bottles for us all to taste....thank goodness we were walking and not driving, that could have been a very expensive LYFT ride.

Yeah ... you need to remember to drink water in between tastings ... and not just to dilute your system to avoid hangovers, but also to 'wash your palate' for the next set.

Depends, actually. I've had wine tasters tell me water is bad, but that's mostly putting it in the wine glass to wash it out. That makes the next taste likely to be watery. Ideally, you'd rinse with your next wine, then taste....but most are too cheap to do that.

Hoskin ... I really liked the mail bag idea! Not sure why it needed to be optioned back to AAA, but then it's not the first time I've wondered about who makes those decisions.

So, the question is now is there a big market for a player like Escobar? The way he has been batting of late do they keep plugging him in the lineup and hope to get some team to overpay with a near-ready minor league pitcher like the Giants did last year for Nunez? I understand SSS but if he can keep it up with Adrianza on the bench I think he could be a good sell high candidate.

Technically, you only have the right to edit your posts for an hour (or less ... not exactly sure.) But I suppose you have the right to ask a moderator to edit your posts for you if you really, really, really need to.
