Tigers hitter 1-4 all bat over .300. I think the Twins are plenty capable of having 5 guys over .300: Span, Revere, Mauer, Morneau and Doumit. Let's hope the Willingham, Revere, Mauer slumps end tonight.

Agreed, After an awful sweep by the Rays, I want to see some anger and aggression come out of this offense. Let's destroy these Bastardos!

One wonders what the point of the Nishioka recall was. 3 games where management really learns nothing new, then sit on the bench for 3 games, leaving the team even more shorthanded because their is no way he's getting into a home game and giving the crowd a chance to show their feelings. All while carrying a 13 man pitching staff, and Drew Butera.

Whatever the explanation... I hope it's a good one. Nishioka's short stint was as ugly as it gets.

I imagine it went something like this:

JR: Nishi has been hitting well. We should see what we have for 2013. Call him up.

Game 1: Well, he has the jitters. It happens.

Game 2: Did he just walk away from that ball?

Game 3: Seriously. **** this guy.

Actual game comment... Morneau Yes... Stringing them together with two outs... A beautiful thing...

Nishioka Question... I know Glynn said that Nishi was working hard and looking good... But AAA managers can't throw players under the bus publicly. It's like a hypocritic oath or something. That said... Based on what we saw... It has to be impossible for Nishi to look good at any level.

Has anyone seen Nishi playing in Rochester and back Glynn up?

Dick: "It's national left-handed day, and I've been trying to do everything with my left hand today."

Bert: "...everything?"

Every once in a while Bert comes up with something really, really clever.
