I'd like to use that with everyone I disliked or got frustrated with but then we'd have no website, or rather, a very small group discussing Twins issues. So the better solution might be to learn to get along; barring that ignore, report and/or walk away. Or use PM's to have at it with one another away from the public forums. Learning to agree to disagree seems not to work well when one or both take inflammatory approaches to posting.

What tag? A signature? I wouldn't see that because I have all signatures hidden so I don't have to read anyone's.

 

And I knew yours was a 'tongue in cheek' post to start ... but it still gave me an opportunity to soapbox for 2 seconds.

howtodealwithdave may be intended as a humorous tag, but there's also such a thing as kidding on the square. We allow a lot of additional latitude in this forum area, but there is still no great value to being combative toward an individual, and this is what it will come across like to many readers. If you want to make inside jokes or whatever, take it to PM like ChiTown suggested. Keep the public posts reasonably accessible to the wider audience. Basic respect is still expected.
