Im not sure, but in case you were wondering, here's a list of future Easter dates until 2299. Whoever made this list just stopped at 2299. Maybe he or she knows something.

Now I've got something to live for. If I live until I'm 92, Easter will fall on my birthday!

I guess I'll show my age by saying that my first car was a 1998 Chevy Lumina...

Hey! Now we're getting close to mine.... 2000 Chevy Blazer. Nicknamed her silver slugger. That thing burned oil faster than what I could put in it. Topped it out at a whopping 97 MPH on a country road!

I am speculating there could be a faint connection between Sentence #2 and Sentence #1 here.

I loved the historical part of Ervin's great start. So much so that I felt it my God-given duty to blog about his secure place in Twins history: Ervin Santana's Gem Ranks At The Top Of The All-Time Twins List.

It's a few hundred choice words on game scores, plus one, unending chart of the all-time, best 9 inning starts in team history.

Ah, the old "fill the oil, check the gas" beater. Had one. Ford Galaxy. Ran it for a couple of years. Wound up putting 30 weight oil in the transmission because I blew out the front seal. Ran the car with 30 weight in the transmission for several months before it died. Only paid $50 for the car, so, no big deal.

Fun stuff to look through. I'm surprised Johan had only three games on the list, for example. Probably because of how few complete games he had.

They're not incompatible. Jesus came back to life and was all like "got you guys!"

At least, that's kind of what I remember from the Bible...

Some churches celebrate "Humor Sunday" (or "Bright Sunday/Laughter Sunday") on the week after Easter to celebrate the fast one that Jesus pulled. We have a guest preacher next Sunday, so our Holy Humor Sunday is happening the following week.

Always look on the bright side of life.

What I like about this team is how much it reminds me of the one from 2002. Young, but starting to figure it out. So much emphasis on defense, which augmented the pitching. Now we just need one stunning trade of a veteran for a starting pitcher (AKA, the Matt Lawton deal) and I think we're all set.

Great article!

a fun read indeed. but where was mudcat grant's 5-1 win over the dodgers in game six of the '65 series? 9ip, 1r, 6h, 5k, 0bb. (oh yeah -- and he hit a three-run homer. in an elimination game.)

i see where the performance scored a 76 on the "game score" system. i like bill james but, mudcat's home run notwithstanding, any "system" not putting that game on the list of "twins all-time top 116 single-game pitching performances" is at least a little bit suspect.

edit: jack morris 1991 game 7 doesn't make the list, either -- it scores 84; the list starts at 85.
