Aaron started shaky but finished strong, picking up the decision in a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Bisons to run his AAA season record to 14-4.

 

He gave up single runs in the first, second, and fourth innings, but he hung tough and made it through 8 innings before hitting the 100-pitch mark. In the innings they didn't score, the Bisons went 1-2-3. On the offensive side, the Red Wings benefited from a Little League Home Run by Daniel Palka to finally take the lead in the seventh inning.

 

With 10 strikeouts to go with only 5 hits (and no walks), Slegers's pitching line was actually quite nice looking by game's end.
