Hello Everyone! I'm your game thread host for the day.

Being as it is also Spring Training for our humble thread authors, I thought I'd toss out a few ideas and see where things go from there.

1. Kraft Mac & Cheese: Good idea or of the devil?

2. Take your base or 4 pitch walk: Good idea or of the devil?

3. Miller Clear: Good idea or of the devil? (that one should be obvious)

4. Velveeta: Good idea or of the devil?

5. Allowing me to write a game thread: Good idea or of the devil?

Play Ball!!

Lineups to follow.

1.  Kraft M&C is one of history's greatest leaps forward.  Awesomeness in minutes.  Add a piece of toast and cold milk.

2.  The devil incarnate.  How can a runner take a base when the ball isn't in play?  A slippery slope to hell, for sure.

3.  Seriously??

4.  OK on a grilled cheese.  No other possible way to put to good use.

5.  Need to see you do the real thing before I answer.  Just like Hughes-zee's 16 HRs allowed the other day, spring training don't count.

Now, back to my nap.

The Twins are piling up runs in this game.

This has been an update. Had this been a real update, the letters "CBU" would have preceded the update.

Yeah, but it's ST, so it's not really a 'real' update anyway ... with or without the cbu. Although the cbu thing made it's debut during ST ... guess which posters were responsible for that, btw? (TD trivia)

I just don't know why people would make mac n cheese from a box when making it for real really doesn't take any more time ...

Raising the terror alert level to orange at Twins daily, because I feel threatened, and also because that's the color mac and cheese is supposed to be. Chi should know better than that.

Just remember, while the key to a man's heart may be his stomach, women swoon over men who can cook.

Hey ... there are varying shades of orange out there ... just ask ... oh, nm ... but cheese isn't one shade of orange for all! Seriously ... it's easy ... while the pasta is cooking make a white sauce using flour, milk and butter ... the proprotions vary a little depending on how thick you want it ... then add shredded cheese of your choice ... pour it over the pasta when it's through cooking ... it takes no more time than the boxed stuff and tastes way better.

Just put that over hte pasta while it's in the water, or do I drain the pasta first?

It was a joint effort ... involving me, yes, Circus Boy ... and ... I think ... <can't remember for sure> ... Jerr?

1 for 3, .333 average. I'm a superstar by MLB batting standards!

Okay ... I think it's safe to hit the showers. Came home from working out and playing tennis and went right to the game ... then I need to ice my wrist, bicep and shoulder ... ugh, aging joints suck.

Fire?  I use a slow cooker.  Never tried homemade mac and cheese over fire.

I put mine in a pellet grill and smoke the mac and cheese for a couple of hours.

Now that sounds like something worth trying...  smoked mac and cheese.  Might not agree on seafood, but I'd have to try that.

Of course my kids hate smoked meat.  Does that mean I need new kids?

Nope, it means more for people who appreciate fine cuisine. Such as yourself.
