Respectfully disagree. That first goal was a heat-seeking missile. I thought Doobie did his part tonight.

It was a 60 foot shot, unscreened and untipped from a guy with 4 career goals.

If that isn't soft, then why are you so concerned with the Wild's net front presence?

**** **** **** **** ****

The Wild having the best regular season in franchise history only to get beaten by their limp ***** ex coach is the most Minnesota sports thing ever.

Add this group of underachieving losers to 2000's Twins and every Viking team ever.

Gahhhhhhhh stupid Minnesota sports!!!!!

At least with hockey, 2-0 is not so difficult to overcome as it is in other sports. But, it goes without saying we are in must-win territory.

I have tix to game 5. I'm 100% convinced they will lose that game 5-1 and lose the series 4-1.

Boudreau, what a freaking loser this guy is eh? Can't win anything in the playoffs.

Wow.

You're quite the optimist thinking you're going to get to attend another game this year.

He snuck it past Dubnyk's toe just inside the post. In hockey, we call that a snipe, my friend. Lucky or not, dubnyk was set properly and he couldn't reach it.

Yeah that goal was softer than Statfreaks belly.

Even so, Duby has allowed 4 goals in nearly 7 periods. That should be good enough to NOT be down 2-0 in a series.

Parise is the only player who has showed up this series. Everyone else has been garbage and soft, or when they try to not be soft they take stupid ass penalties or make stupid mistakes.

I'm near done with Coyle and his antics, underachieving. Cya in Vegas bud.

I don't know if the goal was hard or soft but I do know we're down 2-0 (at home no less) to a lesser team coached by Mike Yeo which logically leads me to wonder if firing him was a terrible mistake.

Definitely not a mistake. Coaches are symbolic figures. If the team loses confidence in the guy, they lose confidence in themselves. He had to go. Doesn't necessarily mean Boudreau's a genius for putting the wild at the top of the conference

The Blues look like the team that want it more. And it's not even close.

If we get swept, which I think we will, I think it's time to let Fletcher go and do a full tear down and rebuild.

I've never met any of them, but this team appears to lack mental toughness.

I'm really not sure what to do, but it might be time for a retool.

I'd keep Granny, Zucker, Coyle, Nino, Spurgeon, Scandella, Brodin and put everyone else on the block.

We supposedly have another great wave of talent coming, let's open some spots and see what we can get for some of these guys.  I love the way they played this season, but we're aging fast.

At the very least I'm trying hard to move Suter and/or Parise.

Suter had the worst game I have ever seen out of him. I am hoping he has an injury or something, because if he is 100% and puts that crap performance on? Uh oh.

I'd keep parise, he's one of the few on this team with grit and heart. The one guy all series who continues to goto the net the whole game.

Pominville, time to buy him out.

I too would rather hang on to Parise.

I'd shop Suter heavily this offseason though.  It's time to change some of the leadership on this team and I think I'd start with him.

Yeah this team also is super deep at D.

The problem is, no way is Suter going to agree to a trade. So might as well toss that out the window.

Giving NTC to guys you are giving max contracts to is dumb, if players want NTC they should give you a bit of a discount IMO.

Oh well.

Much more concerning to me is Granny disappearing this series, and Dumba looking like a pee wee hockey player out there.

I think the way you move Suter is to find a team considered to be a Stanley Cup contender and find a fit.  That way he is moving to a team that gives him a Cup chance.

At this moment I have no idea who that would be, but I'd make it happen.  But it may require a new GM to shake it all up.

Sigh.... Just a depressing playoff performance all around. They've tried to win with this core of players for 3 years now. I think the time is right to make a blockbuster trade and switch it up.

I honestly don't know. But a trade a lot like the Subban-Weber deal is the sort I'd look for.

Yeah, damn it would have been amazing to snipe Nashville on that trade.
