Why is DaveW's veracity beyond reproach?  I mean, he's a fun poster and all but we have regular commentators on TD - Jeremy, Seth and others - with real connections to Twins people and none of them are supporting that an offer has even been made or is anywhere close.  We all know that the Dodgers have interest in Dozier - that's well documented - but, after that, DaveW is the only guy anywhere that seems to be suggesting actual players being involved (and suggesting enough obvious different ones that one version may end up being correct).  And he's been been saying it for days while national media types haven't heard any of these rumors.  Although those national types are saying that the Dodgers weren't working on Dozier during that time frame.

 

It's not like Dave isn't above a little trolling for ****s and giggles.

Everyone is above trolling on this site and you've been around long enough to know there's zero tolerance for it.

 

Feel free to engage in a civil debate, but trolling Dave doesn't qualify. Seeing as disproving what Dave says is going to be next to impossible, ignoring his posts or staying away from the thread entirely is likely the most prudent decision if you don't like or believe what he says but can't hold your tongue.

I'm just asking why we can't point out the absolute BS in his posts?  TD is taking the word of an anonymous poster that the Dodgers and Twins are close to a deal while national media people are reporting nothing.  And, in fact, were reporting that the Dodgers were working on other things and had just recently started to look at Dozier.  When Thylos posted his "Scott Baker signing with the Twins" thread healthy skepticism was both warranted and welcome.  I think it's fair to post that.

Posting skepticism and flat out accusing him of BS are not the same thing.

I missed the part where you have a source that knows he is full of BS, or do you have one?
