I can't speak for others, but in my case that's what's left between the three of us after my two boys and I went outside to have some fun with the chainsaw they gave me for Christmas one year.

The mark of a great shop teacher or "older" Mod...

The bad news is that I still haven't figured out how to turn off the speakers on my new computer at work. The good new is that everyone else is out for lunch.

The good news is I do know how to turn off the speakers on my laptop. The bad news is no one even looked up in confusion when they heard that song coming from my desk....

I've been in vacation mode at the office all day, and don't want to talk baseball.

Things I'm thinking about this afternoon:

Christmas presents: I'm notorious for procrastinating on Xmas gifts, but this year it's all done! We put so much pressure on ourselves to get the perfect gifts for our loved ones. When really just spending time together should be all that matters.

Memorable Christmas gift: Was there anything better than being 7,8,9 years old and opening up presents? If you got the latest and greatest toy, something sports related, or an electronic item, it was the greatest day of your life. What was your most memorable Christmas present?

Holiday movies: I've been holding off on watching the classic Christmas movies, until now! Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Miracle on 34th Street, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.... so many good ones out there. What's your go-to holiday movie?

How about when kids ask for bizarre things that they just assume exists and is coherent? You ever get that?

A few examples: a 'snowman toy,' or a 'bear whistle,' or a 'lightning car.'

Lol I'm sure I did that as a young one. No joke, from the age of 5-15, I asked for a dog every Christmas and birthday.... Never did get that pup :(

We do the gift exchange thing with our family. Complete with the stealing of gifts for the added drama. Been doing that for years and we enjoy it.

This year my gift will be a charging tower but I'm still a little under budget so I'm going to throw in a Can of Kidney Beans and a hair brush.

Memorable Christmas gift? Honestly I don't remember. Last Christmas with my Dad, I guess.

Go to movie? Fitzwilly. You probably never heard of it.

There is also the classic Christmas trilogy: Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, and Iron Man 3.

The bad news is that I laughed when I read this response. The good news is that I am genuinely sorry if I caused you even a hint of trouble.

Except one of those robot dog toys back in the day. My dad thought it was sooo funny.

Yeah ... my mom did something like that once ... I asked for a car, I got a toy car. Not that I expected a real car, but ...

And then one year my mom put rocks, a raw potato and willow sticks in our stockings. Yeah, we were all older. Another year she wrapped up this present ... it was pretty large ... and said it was for all four of us kids to share. What could it be??? It was a framed, oversized campaign poster of her from years earlier. Yup ... we were supposed to each have 3 months of mom hanging around our homes/apartments.

What if i do know what's funny?

And my name isn't So Shut Up.

Is the feline pictured part of a potential Dozier deal?

Doing my small part to power the turbines of rumor...

Or is it rumour?

Fav movie, It's a Wonderful Life. Watch it every Christmas Eve.

Best gift ever, 8 years old, Evel Knievel doll with wind up motorcycle and ramp.

Never knew what happened to that damn thing.

Too bad you weren't in Chicago last weekend ... the orchestra performed the soundtrack along with the movie ... pretty fun :)

I just figured I was clicking a link to porn. I didn't think you were so depraved you'd give me Rick Astley.

You click on a news item that is too good to be true, you get Rick Astley.

You click on a link purporting to rick roll you, be prepared for a news item that is too good to be true.

/ or porn, if it's someone else

Carnac: "Julio Urias, Jose De Leon, Yadier Alvarez, and Clayton Kershaw."

Ed: Julio Urias, Jose De Leon, Yadier Alvarez, and Clayton Kershaw. And what could these gentlemen possibly have in common, oh Great One?

Carnac: Those are the names that come to me. Unless you have some information about Walker Buehler.

Ed: I have no such information, Your Magnificence.

Carnac: When exactly did you ever have any information?

Ed: Only in your presence, Sir. We drink at the fount of your wisdom.

Carnac: Fount? May the firehose of Internet Rumormongering fill your basement and damage your sump pump.

Ed: Sage prognostication, oh Seer of Seers. Now, would you be so kind as to open the envelope?

Carnac: "Name four pitchers who will serve on the Dodgers' welcoming committee for free agent Brian Dozier in 2019."
