I'm not sure what the value of some of this is, but I found it interesting.

 

And the Buxton bit confirms the impression of him I got when I saw him play in the AFL a couple years ago.  Watching him go from first to third was startling.  He was visibly faster than anyone I have ever seen on a baseball field.

Yeah, and that's only on 19 doubles and 6 triples. If his bat progresses like it did after his last call up, he's going to rack up a ton of XBH.

I think Dansby Swanson had the second fastest inside the park HR this year, and it was about a full second slower than Buxton's.

 

He sure is fun to watch, and I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do in 2017.
