The biggest surprise (and possibly best item) about this hire is that the Twins went and hired someone who was 8 years old the last time "championship-caliber" baseball was played here. Makes it feel like IRL "Little Big League."

What is the hierarchy now?  Are St Peter and Falvey equals and both Report to Pohlad.  Does one report to the other?

 

I would hope that they are in two completely separate areas reporting through a different org.

 

From what I gathered, DSP acted like an owner's rep within the front office, managing high-level and big picture stuff for the organization. I believe he would manage budgeting, including payroll budgets (with Pohlad's approval). If any moves were made (such as signing Kendrys Morales) which deviated from the initial payroll, he would have some input.

 

I'm not sure if it will still work that way now with Falvey but I'm guessing it will for a bit.

LEN3 says Antony could be GM. Noooooo! If things haven't improved greatly in three years, which is realistic, Falvey will take the fall and Antony will get promoted. Meanwhile, retention of Antony and Molitor will increase the institutional resistance to hard changes.
