When I got the basic training haircut I was I looked like Tweety Bird.  Some head  shapes just don't work with the shaved look.  I do cut mu own hair, though - #8 all over, then #4 up the sides and back, then #6 to taper between the two.  Easy.  No appointment needed.

I do the same thing! Does yours end up looking like #2, like mine?
