If only we could throw out the worst month of the season, ok if only we could throw out the two worst months of the season..  two and a half months of the season.  We would be in contention.\

 

It is nice to see them playing better.  With a bad a start as they had, it would not have been unforeseeable for the club house to go toxic and continue to play in the gutter the rest of the season.

they are shooting for a loss record that DOESN'T start with 9.  

 

And it could happen.  They could get to 73 or more wins.

The twins have finally clawed their way out of the al cellar. They've also leapfrogged cincy and Arizona percentage points wise.

Small steps.

this team has gotten to the point where I expect us to win close games.  If we're down by a couple runs I expect us to come back, and I'm not waiting for them to find a way to lose the game.

 

This is fun baseball right now.  

 

And MAN, Polanco and Kepler need to be permanent fixtures in the lineup.

Undemoted and unbenched? Fair to mostly better than Dantana?

 

His arm looked adequate on the radio. Maybe some thicker socks would make him a bit taller and give him the downward plane those long throws need in order to beat the runner.
