Still no promotion for Jorge dispite a 1.5ish ERA? I could be wrong, but to me it seems like Jorge is the Twins trade bait in the minors. I mean if Felix was promoted to Chattanooga and struggles a bit, his trade stock drops. But if he keeps posting a great ERA and having dominant starts in Ft Myers some team will have interest in him, that's just my own opinion.

I can't stop looking at Zach Granite's stats.  Man. Young for his league, good speed, good k rates, good OB%, all he needs now is power...He is overcoming his bad April and keeps getting better.  He should be at AAA next year and could be a Sept 2017 call up.

I can't think of a prospect at AA/AAA who has improved his stock more than him.

No way I'd trade Felix Jorge.

Meh, if some team gives us something of value back I would include him in a trade. His shiny ERA this year seems partly due to a low BABIP and a very high LOB%. His K rate is pretty meh, so I have my doubts as to whether he can get more advanced hitters out or not.

Yeah, I agree.  I think the Twins only have a handful of guys who have true FOR potential and Jorge isn't one of them.  If they can include him in a package deal, that's fine.

I was honestly a little surprised when he was pushed to AA to start this season, but after a short adjustment, he has been terrific. It's fun to see. He has such a professional approach at the plate, perfect for a leadoff type of hitter.

That what I feel. To me Felix Jorge is just like Chih Wi Hu last year. A pitcher who probably will be at best a #3 starter or lower. I think Jorge is alright, but I'd rather trade him than trade Gonsalves, Fernando Romero, Kohl Stewart, Tyler Jay, or Lewis Thorpe. I mean with the Twins being sellers at the trade dead line I can see them trading a better young arm to try to get something good in return.

Most of you form opinions from a stat sheet. I work for the Miracle... and trust me, Jorge's the real deal! To trade him for ????? would make no sense. He's far outshone Kohl Stewart and even Stephen Gonsalves in his time here. He might be with the Miracle this long because of his age, certainly NOT his talent.

I'm not super high on Jorge as a starter - he strikes me as a guy that is pitching to contact in a low-scoring run environment. But it's important to have mid-level prospect depth, since some of those guys boost their stuff and turn into higher-level prospects.

My thought is he'd be an add on with Nolasco. Just my opinion.

Seth sort of alluded to this, but it makes no sense.  Nolasco is a net negative on any trade package.  If someone was willing to eat a significant portion of Nolasco's contract to also acquire Jorge, you'd be better off leaving Nolasco out of it and just trading (or keeping) Jorge.  The Twins don't need that level of cash, and just releasing Nolasco could give you the 40-man spot to protect Jorge this winter.

Ok that does make a lot of sense. To me it seems like the Twins are just dangling Jorge by keeping him in Ft Myers. I strongly believe Jorge has started more than enough games in Ft Myers to prove he needs to be moved up. It seems curious as to why he isn't in Chattanooga yet. Perhaps though he will get moved up as soon as Jose Berrios is called up by the Twins.
