Didn't most these young guys play for Dougie? Maybe to much screaming not enough teaching?

Who knows, this is doug's fourth year managing in the minors and all his teams have been wildly successful. A pretty big stretch to blame much of anything going on here on him.

Some of these pro ballplayers are so spoiled. Ball's slightly hard to reach under some ducting, and he acts like he can't see it, or it's in the yard with an angry dog. That should have been an inside the park home run, if for no other reason than to tell these guys not to be such wimps.

Many here would argue it's better when I'm elsewhere ;)

I'm sorry you feel that way Aggie.  This is supposed to be fun.  I've thought a little bit about your comment before posting.  I have a theory why some people may feel that way.

1.)  This is the Minnesota Twins. Most of their fan base have DNA from Northern Europe.  The Swedes, Germans and Norwegians usually don't do dry humor.  Don't take it personal.  I grew up in Minnesota and actually thought the national news broadcasters spoke like they we're from Minnesota.  I had to move away for awhile to understand that wasn't true.

2.)  Based on your prior comments you live in the Northeast.  You post the classic northeastern type of comments.  I lived in Philly for 9 years and made some lifetime friends there.  They all spoke like you and made similar type of comments.  Those guys out there made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes. My DNA is German and Swede so it took me awhile to get their sense of humor.

Based on my experience living out east (I'm back in Minnesota now 10+ years) I've never seen such passionate fans for the teams they root for out there.  You seem to fit that description.  As long as the posts are clean I say keep on posting.  I know there are many of us who appreciate and laugh at your posts.

Go Twins!

Thank you! I like the sarcastic jabs and jokes. Rubs some people the wrong way. Oh well!

Don't think he's assigning blame per se, just responding to the assertion that Doug M. wouldn't stand for the poor fundamentals that we see from Twins players. Well, Dougie coached many of these players already... as has Jake Mauer, etc. and even Molitor as a roving minor league instructor,.

I know, don't mean to start a debate over it. Generally teams that lack fundamentals don't perform as well as doug's teams have (at least judging by wins and losses). Doug is just one cog out of many in the minor league system. I liked him as a player and he definitely had an intensity that is SORELY lacking with any player or coach on this team now. That really isn't debatable.

I like the show better, but that's just me.

Me too. Figured the youngsters only know the movie version, plus the gif was just too cool to pass up.
